Andrew A.G Garvie

My name is Andrew Garvie and I am a Ph.D. student at Monash University in the Wong Lab. My research is predominantly based in the field of Epigenetics and Chromatin Biology with a focus on H3.3 mutations observed in Paediatric Gliomas. During my time as a student, I have contributed to three publications, with a first-author publication planned to be submitted for review by December 2022. This publication covers a large proportion of my thesis and predominately focuses on a novel mechanism to cure H3.3 mutated gliomas by inhibiting RNA Polymerase I.
