Rudrarup Bhattacharjee 43rd Lorne Genome Conference 2022

Rudrarup Bhattacharjee

Rudrarup is a second-year Ph.D. Student under the Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship, in the Neurogenetics Group, Adelaide Medical School, University of Adelaide. His work currently focuses on understanding the role of the Transcription and Export (TREX) complex-mediated mRNA export pathway in Neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD). He studies the TREX complex sub-unit mutations in patient cells (fibroblasts and LCLs) and works also on a mouse model generated based on a patient mutation of TREX, to understand the molecular events and genetics underlying the development of NDD phenotype in those patients.
