Yohaann Mohamed Asif Jafrani

• Yohaann Jafrani (He/Him, They/Them) obtained his Master degree in Molecular Biology at The University of Queensland, Australia. During the course of his Master’s degree he undertook various projects such as: investigating the effect of TUSC3 and MAGT1 SVVS mutants on the stability of a mutant protein Torsin A delta E at AIBN; Identifying the potential of exosomal miRNAs as bio-marker for ovarian cancer progression at UQCCR; and Identifying translated pseudogene transcripts at Mater-TRI. Yohaann Jafrani obtained a UQ Graduate School Scholarship (UQGSS) and Frank Clair Scholarship (Mater Research) in 2020 to pursue PhD. He is currently in the second year of his PhD working on a project titled “Tracing Epigenetic Lineages of Single Cells using Adenine Methylases” in the Faulkner lab under the guidance of Dr Seth Cheetham and Prof Geoff Faulkner.
